Last Friday we held a fantastic party to celebrate our 18th birthday and the launch of our new brand and website. All of our current 200+ students, our staff and friends all joined us for a BBQ, prize draws, lots of cake and lots of cheer in our lovely garden.

Guilherme (Student, from Brazil)

“On the day of the party I did a quick survey with the students and asked about the new brand, in general, all the students liked it. The common view was that the new brand is more modern, clearer and communicative. As for the site, all students liked it as well. Do you know that phrase “Less is more”? The students told me that while it was innovated, it did not become a complicated thing. Well, about my opinion about the new brand: PERFECT! I really like it! As for the party, everyone loved it. All my friends took lots of pictures, posted on their social networks and things like that. Everyone loved the food, including the people who ordered a vegetarian burger!”

Rafa (Accommodation Officer)

“We had the chance to celebrate the 18th birthday of our lovely school among friends having a fabulous time. The best things about the party? Seeing all staff, teachers and students having fun together. There was a prize raffle with free trips to London or a Liverpool Football Club t-shirt and food for all tastes. We could choose from beef and veggie burgers, salad, hot dogs, soft drinks, LSE personalised cupcakes (you can see my very happy smile posing with two of them!) and an enormous birthday cake. We even got to request our favourite tunes thanks to our private DJ that helped us to enjoy the celebrations with English and international hits alike. LSE launched the new website and I believe that the new LSE brand and logo truly represent the welcoming, international and friendly atmosphere of the school. Count me in for the next one!”

Maria (School Director)

“I am very proud to celebrate the 18th birthday of Liverpool School of English. I set out to create a truly international learning experience here in my wonderful hometown of Liverpool. I am delighted to have been able to achieve this and looking forward to the next 18 years. The launch of our new website and brand is the start of many more adventures in international education.”         We had such nice wishes from our students and friends:

Coralie (Student from France)

“All the feedback that I had for the party was about the barbecue and the ambiance. Every student was happy to discuss together in the garden and discover the new image of the school. For some of them that was their last day, so they were grateful to share this moment with the others. The organisation was perfect, and everyone had a good time!”

Christina (Student from Spain)

“For me, the highlight of the party was the music! I believe that the music was a good point and it is what makes a party fun. At the same time, the food was good, there were different options.  Another important thing was the competition in which you could win interesting things. As a conclusion I would say that the party was really good and we should do it more often because everybody enjoyed it. I think that the new brand is a clear and that the new logo represents the diversity in the school very well . It looks really nice and people are loving it.”

“Throughout the party all of our students had the opportunity to join in some fun competitions. Leila correctly guessed how many students had studied with us over the last 18 years and won a new Liverpool Football Club shirt!”               Isabel won our Instagram competition with this great Boomerang!

Thanks to everyone who joined us to celebrate, we had a great time and can’t wait for our next school event!
