You will take a level check test to ensure that you are placed into the correct class. Our Academic Team will sit with you to determine your learning needs and understand your goals. You will also be given a ‘Needs Analysis’ form to fill out and give to your teacher in your first class so that they understand your aims whilst you’re here.
Our fun and friendly activity leaders will show you around Liverpool to get a glimpse of the famous sights and so you can find everything you need. They are always happy to answer any questions that you might have, whether it’s where the nearest post office is or where to find the best takeaway, our knowledgeable staff will be able to help.
Timetables and Textbooks
At the end of the day you will be given your new timetable and textbook ready for starting your first lessons the next day.
First Week Feedback
Here at the Liverpool School of English we value our student’s opinions so we love getting feedback. There will be a feedback session in your first week. It takes place at 12:00pm on Thursday in the Common Room. It is important that you come to the session and tell us your thoughts about the school and your stay in Liverpool. If you think your class is too easy or too hard by the end of the first week you will need to speak to your teacher. This is a great way to let us know how you’re getting on and if you’re having any problems. Our Student Services Team is always available if you need anything during your first week or at any other time during your stay.
