This app is made by Dictionary.com and it uses cards to teach new vocabulary. Some of the words are not common in conversation and are quite academic, but it is a good app for IELTS and academic students.

Dictionary.com is a good free online English dictionary. Using an English-only dictionary is good practice for improving your vocabulary and it is really recommended for exam students (IELTS, CAE, FCE… etc)
Oxford Advanced Student Dictionary
This dictionary is good for advanced and high Upper Intermediate students. It is designed for people studying and learning English. Unfortunately this application is not free but it is very useful.
Arabic Learners Oxford Dictionary
An app specially designed for Arabic learners to help with vocabulary and spelling. It also has pictures to help and translations from English into Arabic with helpful notes.
