New for 2012..... LSE in Chester

2 and 3 week courses from July 8th to August 19th 2012

At the Liverpool School of English we have been organising programmes for teenagers for over ten years and we offer excellent value, well organised courses for both "closed" (single nationality) and mixed nationality groups.  This is why this year, 2012, we are very happy and excited to announce our new junior summer school destination  in the beautiful, historical city of Chester, a city  bursting with culture and history.

LSE in Chester is set on an attractive 30 acre self-contained campus, only a short walk from the city centre of Chester. Our Chester campus has excellent teaching, study and recreational facilities. Our students will always be close to their classrooms, accommodation, the canteen, sports facilities and evening activity hall.

  • International classes of no more than 15 students
  • Fully qualified and experienced teachers
  • Modern, fully equipped classrooms in Chester university campus
  • Communicative lessons designed to develop all four skills with focus on speaking and listening
  • Content based lessons introduce students to the place they are visiting in the afternoon
  • Teachers use videos, web-quests and power point to ensure lessons are creative and dynamic
  • Task based lessons allow students to personalise the topic and themes of the day
  • Presentations, role-plays and project work are used to encourage students to relate to subject
  • Learning journals provided to keep a record of vocabulary, class work and individual progress
