Course Outline
There are three courses based around music, art and culture. Each course will have general English lessons in the morning and then afternoon lessons, trips and activities based around Music, art and culture. The city of Liverpool has more museums and galleries than any other UK city outside London. This means lessons can include trips to the Tate gallery, the museum of Liverpool, the Beatles Story, live music events in the evening and even tickets for a full music festival
English and Music Course (14th-19th May 2012)
This course include lessons on song lyrics, the history of Liverpool music, music and popular culture, a visit to the Beatles museum and a wristband allowing access to Liverpool Sound City, one of the best new festivals in the UK.
Suitable for Intermediate - Advanced Students
English and Culture Course (21st - 26th May 2012)
This course includes lessons on visual art, the Liverpool poets, public art and drama. Visits in the city include the Tate Liverpool gallery, The Walker art gallery, Liverpool world museum and the museum of Liverpool. It includes a trip to Manchester to visit the Lowry museum.
Suitable for Intermediate - Advanced Students
English and The Beatles (20th-27th August 2012)
This course includes lessons on the music and lyrics of The Beatles, visits to Beatles landmarks around the city, the award winning Beatles Story museum. It also includes a day trip to London to visit various Beatles landmarks including the legendary Abbey Road studios. On 26th and 27thof August the Mathew St festival takes place, with over 60 bands from around the world playing popular music, including plenty of Beatles tunes.

These courses use a wide variety of material to help students improve their English while studying music and culture, making a unique and interesting course.
Course Information
- Age:18+
- Hours: 30 hours per week
- Each 3 hour block of learning includes a 15 minute break
- Levels: Intermediate to Advanced (CEF B2-C2)
- Course Length: 1-2 weeks
- Class Times: 9:00-12:00 every day, Mon-Fri, plus afternoon lessons, trips and activities.
- Max Class Size: 15 students
- Average Class Size: 12 students
