We offer English language courses for students of all levels, at any time of year, including short courses and year round long term study. In addition, we regularly create specialist English programmes for groups.
Our students make real progress. We have been running for 15 years and we have the experience and knowledge to deliver real results.
We have an outstanding nationality mix and currently have students from over 60 different countries studying with us. You can also view our monthly nationality mix.
We have a dedicated welfare team to make sure that our students are feeling safe and happy. We also have a resource co-ordinator to assist students in the study centre and help them come up with new and effective ways to learn English. As well as this the students take regular progress tests and have 1:1 feedback with their teachers to devise action plans for further improvement and practise. We also have weekly free support classes for the students to tackle any areas where they feel they would like more practise.
The City of Liverpool
Liverpool is world renowned for its friendly people and perfectly sized city centre. We have more art galleries and museums than any other city outside of London as well as two cathedrals, two major football teams and much more. We also have fantastic transport links for travel all over the country. Liverpool is also a UNESCO world heritage site and was awarded European Capital of Culture in 2008.
From the school building it is a 5-10 minute walk to Liverpool's most interesting and exciting attractions. Liverpool has great transport links so coming to and from school is always very easy and our students get the real British experience because they are immersed in a location with many native speakers.
Our Social Programme
Many of the social programme events are free and within walking distance of the school. We cater for students from many different backgrounds and make sure our activities are appropriate for all students as much as possible.
Our Summer Schools
At our summer schools in Liverpool and London we aim to provide an educational and enjoyable all round learning experience and a valuable insight into British life and culture.
Through our successful partnership with the City of Liverpool College and Lambeth College we are able to offer the best educational and recreational facilities in the city for our students in both Liverpool and London.
We have international classes of no more than 15 students in any class. Our summer school teachers use a diverse range of teaching methods, including interactive technology to deliver communicative lessons. Our lessons are designed to develop reading, listening, speaking and writing skills - functional English that students can use both in and out of the classroom. Our students are all provided with a learning journal to keep a record of vocabulary, classwork, individual progress and details of their experiences on activities and excursions.
