Summer School Teachers Needed

 

Job details

The Liverpool School of English requires excellent, dedicated and flexible teaching staff in late June and throughout July and August.

Teaching positions are available in our adult school (age 17+) in a beautiful Georgian building in Liverpool city centre, teaching 15 or 21 hours per week. Social activities are paid separately.

We also have teaching positions available in our summer school department (age 12 - 17) in Liverpool, Manchester and Chester. Contracts from 1-8 weeks are available, teaching English lessons in the morning and accompanying students on trips and activities in the afternoon. There are also activities in the evening. The summer school is campus based and accommodation is available if needed.

We offer support and guidance to new teachers and a professional working environment to all teachers.

 

Requirements

Teaching must be of a high standard (CELTA/Trinity Tesol needed). No weekend courses please.

Applications from NATIVE SPEAKERS only please.

Preferably 1 year teaching experience, but this is not essential.

 

We are looking for candidates with love and enthusiasm for teaching. Extra-curricular skills such as music, art, drama, film making, sports or IT skills are very welcome.

 

Pay

The junior summer school pays £350 for a 35 hour week of lessons and activities.

The adult school pays £12:90 per hour, plus preparation time.
